LyoDots are based on Argonaut’s popular LyoDose bead technology. Where LyoDose beads are useful in plate formats (such as 96 or 384 reactions), LyoDots are designed for cartridges or automation with 1 to 16 reactions.
LyoDots reconstitute immediately without exhibiting out-gassing that can complicate microfluidics. They are customizable and each dot can be attached to an adherent surface that greatly simplifies the automation of lyophilized material on assay cartridges and for point of care testing (POCT).
The proprietary adherent surface on LyoDots ensures the lyophilized reagents maintain positional correctness and physical stability while allowing production of formulated reagents to <2ul.
