Internship: Warehouse and Logistics

As a valued member of the Warehouse team, the successful candidate will analyze historical data to identify common 3PL shipments, specifically focusing on size, weight, and shipping materials (cooler type, gel pack, dry ice). Using this data, the candidate will predetermine shipment details, in turn, speeding up our internal 3PL international shipment velocity and providing planning with sound forecasting of shipping materials.

Specific Details

  • Gain an overview of internal order(s) from work order pick to fulfillment of sales order
  • Shadow shipping and gain in-depth knowledge of fulfillment(s) and data that is captured in NetSuite and FedEx Shipment Manager
  • Train with NetSuite SMEs on historical reports and data exportation
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand data flow (inputs & outputs)
  • Build knowledge base of 3PL fulfillments in Excel
  • Identify class or family-based fulfillments in Excel
  • Build materials matrix based in Excel
  • Interdepartmental collaboration with internal NetSuite and Supply Chain to leverage gathered data to identify shipping material requirements at the fulfillment level.


  • 2nd or 3rd year student pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
  • Majoring in Supply Chain or related field
  • Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Knowledge and experience using MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Ability to remain flexible, work cross-functionally and shift priorities as needed
  • A self-starter with attention to detail
  • Positive and collaborative disposition
