As a valued member of the Commercial Organization, the successful candidate will be assigned to lead a keystone initiative during their time with Argonaut, helping to define the project and driving it to successful completion to advance the Commercial Organization’s and Argonaut’s goals.
Specific Responsibilities
- Keystone Initiative: Competitive Landscape Analysis (8-12 weeks, 30%)
- Identify top competitors by business segment (Biopharma, Life Sciences)
- Research top competitive CDMOs with respect to:
- Enabling technologies
- Geographic reach
- Brand reputation
- Channel/content marketing
- Et al as directed by supervisors
The candidate will also contribute to the following areas as assigned:
- Analytics & Data Management (8-12 weeks, 20%)
- Leverage CRM and ERP Systems for reporting and analytics
- Analyze pricing, sales, et al data
- Improve data hygiene and maintenance efforts
- Reconcile any discrepancies between CRM and ERP systems
- Business Development (8-12 weeks, 15%)
- Collaborate with Business Development Directors, Operations Team, and Commercial Leadership to understand, assess, and develop action plans for issues impacting the Commercial team
- Support Business Development in pitch process and demand generation
- Support the Business Development and Marketing teams as needed
- Process & Systems (8-12 weeks, 20%)
- Identify areas of friction or sub-optimal implementation and recommend improvements/enhancements
- Enter domestic sales orders into relevant systems, with high attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Codify processes and procedures in Standard Operating Procedures
- Cross-Functional Collaboration (8-12 weeks, 15%)
- Interface between Operations and Business Development to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Liaise with the Logistics/Operations department to ensure timely deliveries
- Engage colleagues at various levels and functions to identify opportunities to increase efficiencies
Requirements
- 2nd or 3rd year student pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
- Majoring in Business Administration, Management or related field
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Knowledge and experience using MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- High level of discretion and confidentiality is required as the candidate will be exposed to non-public information
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to remain flexible, work cross-functionally and shift priorities as needed
- A self-starter with attention to detail
