Document Control & Training Coordinator

This role is part of the Quality Assurance team at Argonaut and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and controlling documents through Argonaut’s eQMS (MasterControl).  MasterControl is validated, FDA compliant, and meets regulatory standards for electronic document control (21 CFR Part 11).  This role will also act as the Training Coordinator for the company and will report to the Director of Compliance.  The Document Control and Training Coordinator is an energetic, hands-on, knowledgeable problem solver.  Argonaut is a high demand, fast paced work environment.

Specific Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage all company training including managing courses, roles, exams, coordination of classes, etc. through MasterControl and will lead new employee training sessions
  • Assist in implementation of new MasterControl modules including electronic batch records, management of change, supplier, audits, etc.
  • Provide systematic troubleshooting of issues reported by users; be able to quickly diagnose a problem and determine how best it can be fixed in the shortest amount of time with minimal disruption to users
  • Prepare metrics to effectively monitor processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Participate in internal and client audits as the subject matter expert for Argonaut’s training program
  • Other duties include performing visual inspection of finished product, serving as a back-up for label production, performing line clearance, and other various QA duties

Position Requirements and Education

The desired candidate will have:

  • 3 – 5 years of document control and training coordination experience, and eQMS systems experience, preferably MasterControl
  • Superior attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a time-line driven environment
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take ownership and drive projects to completion
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment effectively
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance role in a cGMP and ISO 13485 production environment is highly desirable
